Manager - Revenue Assurance || Lenskart

Job description

In this position, the Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Revenue accounting & assurance including reporting, advanced data analysis, leakage management, leakage prevention and business process change. He will monitor offline and online financial metrics, work with other departments to implement best practices and define error resolution processes. This role requires a unique blend of business and technical skills to effectively drive the required activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Acting as a Revenue Assurance Subject Matter Expert on projects / initiatives that could impact the end to end revenue architecture or existing Revenue Assurance controls against various channels (Online, Offline Stores, HTO, Franchise).
  2. Analyze configuration for various schemes, discounts, cash back or any other promotions. Evaluate business risk and control measures to assess the effectiveness of the control mechanisms already in place and protect company from any possible losses.
  3. Implement Proactive early warning indicators red flags, patterns/exceptions through Data Analytics against various modes of Revenue transactions (Forward+Return+Exchange transactions). Building reports and communicating effectively for taking appropriate course of actions for avoiding any leakages or Fraud attacks.
  4. In charge of managing, creating, and providing oversight for controls on the whole process assurance of returns vs refunds. Adequate control over the timely reporting and accounting of returns. In order to reduce leakages, identify any leaks and work with the cross-functional team to develop a strategic roadmap on process controls.
  5. Understand and aggregate revenue assurance activities across the business (Online, Offline Stores, HTO and Franchise) and ensure they are working effectively.
  6. Provide oversight by monitoring mitigating controls (reports and / or alerts) to identify potential frauds and fraud attacks in areas like Customer Refund, Gift vouchers, Schemes, COD conversion etc.
  7. Conduct periodic internal audits to identify process gaps, ensure appropriate checks and balances in the system, revise processes if necessary in order to prepare for external audits.

Job requirements

  • MBA with 5 - 7 years of experience in Retail/Telecom Entity in driving revenue accounting & controls
  • Strong analytics and technology orientation Strong Analytical skills to be able to comprehend large data sets.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, knowledge of data analytics tools is a plus
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and ever-changing needs / environment
  • Relevant demonstrated leadership experience in managing a hi-performance team with a sound understanding of key business drivers
  • Strong exposure of driving Financial Controls
  • Strong people management & Collaboration skills, as dealing with multiple business and zonal heads and other key vertical in the organization is key critical to success of this role
