In this role, you will get the unique opportunity to be 'mini entrepreneurs' and work on strategic projects of utmost importance for the company - not just strategic thinking/ analysis, but getting real-time operational experience to drive the projects to execution and create real impact. Key Responsibilities

Drive high impact / cutting edge projects to create real biz impact, e.g. of strategic projects :

  • Re-imagining product buying to ensure availability of high selling products - Crack this puzzle which all fashion org face that high selling products run out of stock (despite having high inventory DOH), so solving questions like - What should be the ideal grid of buy: width of products (no. of unique PIDs), depth (qty in each PID bought)? How to predict what products will sell out fast and order accordingly esp when re-order lead time is large?
  • Transforming store assortment (right assortment, right store, right time) to drastically improve order conversions @ stores - Become a global front runner in retail ops and solving questions like - Hyper localized assortment defined for each store using omnichannel data, How to ensure availability, freshness, and relevance of assortment even in a small 500 capacity store: so that every consumer type gets what they want?
  • Drastically shrink lead times to improve demand reactivity - Every successful fashion biz has a strong backbone of short lead times (eg Zara) which has helped create a lasting comp advantage. Set up a unique supply chain which would be a true case study in lead times.

In this role,

  • You will be working closely across functions / teams to drive strategic and transformative projects to real on-ground impact eg Merchandising, Offline stores, Plant ops, Tech etc
  • Independently own, execute initiatives end to end across people, process, and technology and deliver KPIs/ KRAs

Utilize data-centric approach to create market insights and customer perspectives, drive efficiency and improve key metrics such as revenues, conversion, costs, freshness, etc

Job requirements

Job requirements

Excellent educational background - MBA from Tier 1 colleges / Engg from IITs/ CA rank holders, with

  • 2-5 years experience in Top Tier consulting firms (Retail/ Consumer/ Consumer Tech projects plus), or
  • Ex Consulting, currently working in high growth startups/ Retail/ Consumer, or
  • 3-7 years experience in high growth startups in similar roles (driving successful strategic projects)

The ideal candidate: Passionate with a high degree of ownership and consumer centricity. Great stakeholder and change management skills. Data and detail-oriented. Desire to build a world-class organization ground up and work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
