Business Analyst

Job Summary:

As a Business Analyst in New Store Development department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Lenskart's retail expansion. Your expertise in data analysis, coupled with exceptional presentation skills, will drive informed decision-making and effective communication of strategies to stakeholders. You will leverage advanced data tools and presentation software to analyze trends, predict outcomes, and visualize data in compelling ways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis using advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to support strategic decisions related to new store development.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into market trends, store performance, customer demographics, and other key metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Create compelling presentations with a strong narrative and visual storytelling, including animations, to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in transforming intricate concepts into captivating visuals, harmonizing creativity, design thought, and innovation.
• Demonstrate imaginative inquisitiveness by exploring innovative design methods and staying abreast of the latest industry advancements.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements in data analysis and presentation tools to improve departmental capabilities.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with all relevant data protection regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis and visualization.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, JIRA, Postman
• Exceptional presentation skills, including experience with creating engaging presentations and knowledge of animation techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the retail industry, particularly in-store development or expansion, is a plus.
