Assistant Manager - Procurement || Lenskart
Discovering profitable suppliers and initiating business and organization partnerships.Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies.Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.Examine and test existing contracts.Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.Drive and support procurement activities pertaining to store expansion.Lead and look after the overall spend for Projects within the allocated budget.Continuously monitor and track the forecast vs actual saving and take corrective actions.Actively involve and engage with stakeholders for the execution of sourcing projects.Work closely with Internal teams Projects, BD to deliver new projects.Cost analysis (understand supply and demand market, industry benchmark, cost analysis)
- B.Tech or MBA with 3 to 7 years of experience.
- Knowledge and experience in Procurement of capex/Opex/Services.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, methods and techniques, including negotiation skills, e- sourcing tools, e-auctions is beneficial.
