Job Description for Area Sales Manager – Lenskart Plus

Analyze market for needs analysis, market segmentation and ideal target

 market

 Able to handle multiple products across multiple therapeutic areas

 Database collection, feedback about existing products. Market & competitor

 analysis

 Execute & Implement marketing activities for establishing LENKART PLUS

 PRODUCTS and technology brand. Ensuring visibility in the area

 Organizing events/ making sales presentations. Road shows, conferences,

 meeting

 Selection / targeting the KOL’s (key opinion leaders in the field) as a part of

 market development and brand building effort.

 Reports and data analysis of the region for future market development

 Preparing and implementing the long & short term sales plans & budgets

 Month-wise achievement of sales targets and payment collection

 Maintaining relations with various Doctors Associations and Retail Chain of

 Pharmacy & Standalone Chemist Shop to provide the best services –both

 personal and academic support.

 Establishing the Feed Back Mechanism from the customers for the

 improvement of various products and services.

 Identifying market gaps and suggesting appropriate actions

 Implement strategies to identify new business opportunities & expand the

 existing market

 Identify data collection needs, build mechanism to collect data and

 accordingly collect data

 Developing new clientele by visiting corporates, and Hospital Pharmacy


Job requirements

candidate Profile

 Experience in similar (Promote & selling Experience of Pharma OTC /OTC

 products) field for 5 – 8 years

 Experience to handle the Team size 8- 10 Sales Associates/ Field Officers

 Handled at least a 2-3 states but preferably currently at Regional Level

 Aggressive approach

 Self starter

 Can demonstrate successful networking abilities

 Should have contact with KOL’s in the region which he is operating

 Good writing skills

 Excellent leadership qualities

 Personally well organized, and good at time management

 Willing to travel

 Proficient in MS Office Suite

 Sales forecasting and effective sales management skills

 Should have worked across 2-3 therapeutic areas.
